RACE SERIES
We organize several popular races every year where you can compete against others, both individually and in teams. Register yourself for our rental kart series or pull together a team with friends for our Le Mans race. See below which races we organize this year.
Le mans 6h Endurance Race 2024
Date: 6/4 2023
Time:10.30-18.00 (Registration no later than 10.00)
Registration fee: 4,900 SEK / team. Paid in advance as registration is binding.
Teams: Max 12 teams with at least 2 drivers in each team. (Min age 15 years old)

Equipment: Helmet and overalls/rain overalls are available to borrow. If you want to bring your own helmet, etc., that is allowed.
Warm-Up/Timed Quali: 20 min, all drivers must drive. Free number of changes.
Starting order: The best times from the Warm-Up/Quali determine the starting order for the race.
Race: 6 hour race with mandatory driver changes every 30 minutes. When signaling with lights around the track, you have 4 min to come in and change drivers. Two mandatory fuel stops that are mediated by the staff, all fuel stops take the same 1 min and take place continuously during the race. The team with the most laps after 6 hours wins. All teams will have an average weight of 90kg. We will weigh all drivers to calculate the average weight and weight up those teams that need extra kilos. For example. if the team's average weight is 84kg including driver equipment, the kart will be weighted up with 6kg of lead.
Award ceremony: Trophies for the 3 best teams. Award for the fastest lap time of the race.
Food/Cafeteria: We will fire up the bbq and serve grilled hamburgers at a respectable price. The cafeteria is also open and staffed.
Practice for the race: Saturday 30/3 (Easter) 12.00-15.00, the track is reserved for those who will run the race on 6/4 and want to come and hone their lap times and driver changes. SEK 120 / 10 min pass and driver (Ord price SEK 220). Pre-registration for the training day MUST be made to bokning@hyrkart.se
Anderstorp Grand Prix 2024
Date: 6/6 2024
Time: 18.30-21.00 (Registration no later than 18.00)
Registration fee: 900:- SEK to be paid on site. (Min age 18 years old)

Equipment: Helmet and overalls/rain overalls are available to borrow. If you want to bring your own helmet, etc., that is allowed.
Driver weight: We will weigh all drivers up to 85kg. We can put a maximum of 27 kg of lead in the kart, if that is not enough, you have to bring your own weight vest in addition.
Warm Up: 5 minutes.
Q1/Q2/Q3: 10 min x 3. Just like in F1, move on to the next round of qualifying or be eliminated.
Feature races: 60 minutes. All drivers must make 2 simulated pit stops, one in the first half of the race and one in the second half. You choose yourself when you come in for your pit stops during the two halves of the race. The kart stands still in the pit for 5 seconds before being released onto the track again.
Award ceremony: Trophies for top 3. Prize for fastest lap time.
Practice for the race: On Tuesday 4/6 between 18.00-20.00 the track is booked for testing. 120:- SEK / 10 min pass (Normal price 220:- SEK). Pre-registration for the test day MUST be sent to bokning@hyrkart.se in advance.
Kartway Race League 2024
Date: 25/4, 30/5, 27/6, 29/8 and 26/9 2024.
Time:18.00-21.00 (Registration no later than 17.30)
Registration fee: 800:- SEK / per race. 3500:- SEK if you register for all 5 races. (Min age 15 years old)

Weight classes: 2, up to and including 80kg and 95kg plus. We weigh each individual driver up to his or her own weight. Example: If you weigh 89kg, you get 6kg of lead in your kart, so you get up to 95kg, etc., if you weigh 61kg, you get 19kg of lead in your kart. The 2 different weight classes do not run together on the track at the same time, but two completely separate races.
Equipment: Helmet and coverall/regnoverall can be borrowed. If you want to bring your own helmet, etc., that is allowed.
Warm Up: 5 minutes.
Time qualifying: 10 min, determines the starting order for the pre-final.
Pre-final: 10 laps, determines the starting order for Final 1.
Final 1: 18 laps.
Final 2: 18 laps, reverse starting order and kart according to results from Final 1.
Award ceremony: Medals for the top 3 from Final 1+2 in both weight classes at each race. Trophies for the top 3 in both weight classes when the series is finished in September.
Series: 5 race days, the results of 8 out of 10 finals are counted. Run one race or all 5. 24 places in total, 12 in each weight class. 2 weight classes that compete independently of each other, i.e. 2 races with 2 different prize distributions at each competition event.
